Hunt Information

Weather and Temperatures
British Columbia's weather can be unpredictable, so come prepared for fluctuating temperatures, rain, and wet snow. Here's a general guide to what you can expect throughout the seasons:
August Goat Hunts: Lows of around 8°C (46°F) to highs above 21°C (70°F).
September and October: You can expect temperatures to drop to freezing, with highs around 10°C (50°F).
November: Temperatures will continue to get colder, ranging from -7°C to 2°C (20°F to 35°F).
Winter Hunts & Trapline Tours: Prepare for extremely cold Canadian winters, with temperatures potentially ranging from -40°C (-40°F) to -10°C (14°F).
Gear and Accommodations
Our main camp cabins offer comfortable beds, a hot water shower, and an outhouse. The amount of gear you can bring depends on your type of hunt:
Main Camp Hunts: Hunters staying at the main camp are welcome to bring as much gear as they need to be comfortable.
Horseback Hunts: Gear is limited to one duffel bag, along with your rifle and a day pack. Extra gear will be left at the main camp.
Backpack Goat Hunts: Due to the physical demands of these hunts, you are limited to what you can carry, typically around 50 pounds.
Regardless of your hunt type, waterproof and shockproof binoculars are a must. It's also a good idea to put your camera in a plastic bag to protect it from rain and wet snow.
